Wearing Rules

1. Wash and oil your Rudraksha with almond oil monthly using a soft brush and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ before wearing it the next day.
2. Remove it during sexual intercourse and funeral visits.
3. You can remove it while eating non-vegetarian food or drinking alcohol and wear it again later.
4. Women can wear it all the time, even during their menstrual cycles.
5. To energize it, touch it to a Shivling and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ 11 times. Perform a Rudrabhishek of it when possible.
